Out and About: Cooper Hewitt Museum

A design museum of my dreams.

The Cooper Hewitt Museum utilizes a super unique and interactive tool known as "The Pen." You can save your favorite pieces from the museum and save your own designs and at the end of the day, you save all your documents and see it online.  Carrying around the pen gave me the feeling of a designer, absorbing inspiration wherever it hits.

This cool dude decided to make this wallpaper design in the Immersion Room.

My design + Me

This device was really cool. You take a picture of yourself and on sand, a robot will sketch your portrait.

From a screen a couple of feet away, the interface was on a digital screen. By placing your hands over the screen it is projected onto the set up above, thus making movement between the columns and you are able to move the ball around without ever touching it.
